ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPPORT

The MRC d’Argenteuil Economic Development Service provides support during a business start-up project, including guidance, help in drafting the business plan and seeking financial assistance.

The entrepreneurial culture and business community of Argenteuil and Lachute  is based on creativity and solidarity. It is therefore important for the MRC’s Economic Development Service to support new entrepreneurs, whether through financial or professional assistance. We want to encourage the next generation to settle in the MRC to launch or acquire a business in the region.

SELF-EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT

The MRC d’Argenteuil Economic Development Service supports the beneficiaries of the Emploi-Québec Soutien au travail autonome (STA) program. This program is intended to:

  • Support individuals with a viable business project in its implementation;
  • Foster job creation through business creation;
  • Provide individuals with the opportunity to consolidate their business or self-employment activities to become financially self-sufficient;
  • Diversify the local economy through strategic economic development.
